Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have a consultation first, then come back for my initial appointment?

No. Every new client receives a consultation with the initial appointment. We do, however, suggest booking a separate free consultation when booking extensions or individual braids/twists.

When is the latest time in the day I can book appointments?

We take our last appointments at closing time each day; excluding color and extensions, which can be taken no later than two (2) hours before closing time.

Will my service include a wash?

Yes, all services include a shampoo and conditioner.

Do I get a discount if I wash my hair before my appointment?

No. We do not discount the service price if your hair is washed prior to your appointment.

Can I bring my own beauty/hair care products to use for my services?

No. We’re fully confident in the high quality products we use, and do not allow outside products to be used for your services, unless you have a medical condition mandating the use of your products.

What do I do if I am unhappy with my service?

If you are unhappy with your hair service, or any other service performed by our staff, it is imperative that you notify management immediately. Management must be able to view and analyze the areas of concern within 48-hours after the services were performed, as well as be allowed to make corrections.

What can I do if there are no appointments available on my desired day or time?

Fact is, people cancel their appointments frequently. If there is no availability for the days and times you desire, you can ask to be added to the Pending List. In the case there is a cancellation, you will be notified, and given the opportunity, at that time, to reserve your appointment time. This is, however, a first-call, first-serve basis; we fill the cancelled appointment block with the the first person we verbally communicate with from the Pending List.

Can my 17 and under child come to the salon and recieve services without a parent or guardian?

No, Unfortunately, we will not perform services for those 17 and under without a parent/guardian present, or without written consent from a parent/guardian.

Can I keep my appointment time and date indefinitely?

Yes, we call that a standing appointment. You can schedule a recurring standing appointment weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Just call (404) 532-0024, and the Guest Services Coordinator will be able to assist you with setting it up.

What is a Silk Press?

A silk press is the result when a stylist blows out your hair and then applies a flat iron afterwards.

What is the difference between a Trim and a Cut?

A trim is maintaining your shape. I cut is defining a new or lost shape.

Where is the salon located? What is it near?

We’re located on Ponce De Leon Ave. near Boulevard, and directly across the street from McDonalds and Cookout.

Is there enough parking?

Yes, we have a few spaces in the front of the salon, as well as several spaces located in the rear. Also, it’s free.
